How high and low each part goes
These are the written limits the generator will not cross. They ship as sensible defaults — check them against your own ASBOA range chart and correct anything that's off. The notes shown are what the player reads, not concert pitch.
What each level uses
Keys and changes follow the ASBOA band sight-reading level rules; the "this year" column is the key on the current instrumentation chart.
Who reads what
One exercise is written in concert pitch and then rewritten for each instrument. This is the arithmetic it uses.
